In this short film the author looks at the psychological moment, when the individual's preconceptions about the structure of the world and oneself, previously perceived as self-evident, constant, are revealed as phenomena that's less fixed. Coming to observations about the formation of ideas in the context of society, and the opportunity opened up by this revelation for transformation in internal and group views. The realization that what is perceived as real is only interpretation of signals perceived from reality with our senses. Regular recollection of this cognition is an important tool for both the individual and the collective in order to be better able to adapt to the realities of the situation. The plot is played out in a detached way. Looking at questions of individuals but equating the individual with the symbol of a house, using the idea of the house as a simplified representation of preconceptions. Looking at how the collective affects the formation of preconceptions.

This short was made during the first wave of the pandemic.
Without even realizing it I hid from the virus, by crawling into my computer and making this film.
Following old patterns. They are strong in times like these.
It was a good chance to work on my relationship with staying at home with myself. Before the pandemic I had developed a deep panic to stay by myself, working at home. My house had became a place where I would get pulled deep into my addictive behaviors. I tried to get out as fast as possible, and tried to surround myself with people all the time so I would never be alone.
The pandemic made me turn around, and stay inside. Together with the demons, that live at home.
Living inside this heavy space for a long time, I got to see it anew, learn how to move with it, to find a mutual rhythm. That's when a new life can begin.
In the end I'm weirdly thankful for this time.
Now You can stay inside again. And it's alright.
